Broadening the (erotica) horizon

Broadening the (erotica) horizon

Charlotte, or Charlie as I called her, was the best thing that had ever happened to me. We met one night while I was out clubbing, getting over my third divorce, and we have been inseparable ever since. She was everything I wanted in a woman. When we first met she had been slightly overweight, nothing too drastic, but she had insisted on slimming down for me even though I didn't mind what she looked like. After all, my previous wives had all been – how should I say – curvaceous?
Her body was absolutely perfect. She was five feet, seven inches tall, had an incredible thirty-six C chest and an all-over tan. She had gorgeous brunette hair that draped around her shoulders, finishing halfway down her back. Her teeth sparkled when she smiled as she had never smoked or had any work done on them. Her eyes were a gorgeous green that always seemed to catch the light.

And so begins one of my e-books, Addicted to Charlie. From the opening description it sounds like any other male/female romance. A guy describing his perfect partner, the woman he loves. The way he describes every small perfection of Charlotte tells you just how much he is in love with her, however the description doesn't end there.

Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention that between her legs, where she should have had a neatly trimmed pussy, she had a magnificent eight inch cock. You see my Charlie was a transsexual, and if anybody had ever said I would have ended up in this kind of relationship I would have laughed.

Suddenly the male/female romance is no more and I have taken you into the world of transgender erotica. Now before you hurriedly, because I can guarantee some of you will, leave the page just think about it for a second. The beginning description has you wanting to know even more about this perfect woman, this woman that has captured the heart of our protagonist yet, as soon as you do, fear enters your mind - fear of the unknown.
But why? Why are people so afraid to believe that transsexual women, as well as men, have the same feelings as every body else and why shouldn't they, because after all they are human just like you and I. They just want to be healthy, happy and live a life just as you or I would, a life of dating, sex, love and, above all, happiness

I began to write trans romance because I got sick and tired of reading story after story of transsexuals being treated as nothing more than sex objects to be used and abused, just for the titillation of the reader and I wanted to show that transsexuals want exactly the sort of life everyone is ENTITLED to.

It is 2013 and all this hate, all this Transphobia, needs to end and if my writing gets just one person to see the real person from a positive point of view then I am doing exactly what I intend to do.

M/M Romances And Straight Female Readers

Why do straight women like M/M erotic romances so much? When I ask that questions, the answer I'm usually given is "because they're HOT!"

I have my own theory - it's because straight women like to see hot and sexy men together. BUT - and this is a big "but" - they put themselves in the midst of the action. They want to see these two (or three or four) tending to their every need, even if they tend to each other.

I've written M/M fiction before, most notably my two erotic werewolf novellas that are currently off the market. I find that I like imagining two hot and sexy men together but from a straight woman's point of view. This is much the same way straight guys like to see two very hot women getting it on together - but they also insert themselves into the sexy action. You won't find many straight men who feel the same way about M/M scenarios, much the same way you won't find many straight women turned on by F/F scenarios.

So what do you think? Do you like M/M erotic fiction, and if you do, why?

'A Voyeuristic Lover' new release from Gemma Parkes

Due to be released on June 13th is my latest story and a Naughty Nights Press exclusive Hotshot.

Somewhere from the depths of my sexual mind l imagined having sex (willingly) with several men. What would that be like? Probably, in reality, not as exciting as it is to write about but l don't speak from experience. 'A Voyeuristic Lover' tells the story of a woman controlled by her man. Written in the first person we experience first hand exactly what drives this beautiful young woman to play his games.
Paul makes demands that Rosie does not shy away from. Thrilled by his eyes upon her as she provides unsuspecting, willing men with a sexual outlet for their desire, our heroine gets her kicks by giving men theirs.
This story is full of raw sexuality, deep set animalistic urges and tense desire witnessed through the thoughts and feelings of our beautiful heroine.
She teases, she pleases, she brings them to their knees and she falls to hers, a wanton, eager participant in Paul's dark world.

Excerpt 1:
I played him the way Paul liked me to. We chatted, we laughed, we drank some more. I caught Paul’s eyes and knew that the time was right. Leaning in towards my prey, l whispered softly into his ear. He moved quickly, hotly, beads of sweat already visible on his forehead. He followed me outside.
Discreetly, and at a distance, Paul followed too.
We went down a small alleyway at the side of the bar, it was dark and deserted. I leant against the wall and fixed my suitor with a sultry stare. That was all it took. He lunged at me, his hands gripping my ass and sliding my dress up high. He groaned his desire through his eager kisses as he found my nakedness. I caught a glimpse of Paul in the shadows. It turned me on to see his face watching this young man’s desperation.
                   *****************

How does it feel to be so beautiful that all men desire you? That power belongs to Rosie, she knows what she's got and the thrill of men begging to be with her, mixed with the thrill of her partner watching their efforts is what drives this story along. The theme of control from both sexes rears its head throughout to the ultimate, climatic scene of a multi-partner orgy:

Excerpt 2:
Paul lifted me up until l was standing, still a little unsteadily on my feet. He led me over to the sofa. Our guest sat down, his legs spread, his cock firm in his sweaty hand.
“Kneel.” Paul said, kissing my neck.
I fell awkwardly to my knees, unable to steady myself with my hands, still bound so tightly behind me. Paul turned me to face this man and opened my mouth with his smooth fingers. The long, slender cock of this second stranger slipped between my lips and l was once again feeding.
This time l felt Paul behind me, teasing my thighs apart, pushing his cock into my wanton pussy, filling me up with his hardness. I knew how hot this was for him, watching me please other men always thrilled him. Pleasing me at the same time would be the ultimate kick.
                           ************

Not for those easily offended 'A Voyeuristic Lover' will be available to purchase from all good eBook stores on June 13th.

Senses...

They're a funny thing senses... I've had cause recently to review how I evaluate them. We have five senses; sight, hearing, tasting, touching and scent. All equally important right? You would think so, especially if you're lucky enough to possess all five senses. Thing is, that's not the case at all. For those of us who do have all five senses, it's quite funny how much emphasis you place on the first one I listed there. Sight.

Think about it. What's the first thing you do when you get up in the morning? Open your eyes and check the time, put your glasses on, or look around, or just generally see something. It's hard to ignore isn't it? You can see it's light, sun streaming through the windows for instance. You know it's daytime, you haven't woken in the middle of the night. Judgement. We all instantly judge situations, people, anything, on what we see. I often wonder how many of us would have very different relationships with friends and lovers if the physicality of what someone looks like didn't have any part in how we interacted with each other. Too often in everyday life, our sighted sense is targeted to create an emotional response. It's normal. We expect it. We're judged on the clothes we wear, the size of our bodies, the colour of our skin.

What would you do if you couldn't see?

Then there's hearing. You're sitting in your car, guaranteed you'll flip on the radio and listen to your favourite song, or listen to the news, or infact, anything to do with listening. You'll hear the engine thrum quietly into life, or the indicators clicking. What would you do if you couldn't hear? But then of course there's three other senses left. Not so important really are they? But then, that all depends on how you experience the world. Without your sense of smell, you sense of taste is impaired. With little or no sense of touch/feeling, how do you know if you've hurt yourself and you're bleeding, or fatally injured? They seem so trivial in comparison to the other senses, but imagine if you did lack one of the senses I talk about? The other four would suddenly become so much more important. Crucially so.

Picture

When it comes to writing, I was made aware, that I emphasise sight as a descriptor way too much. I will admit, I am biased in finding eyes rather attractive, and smiles do funny things to my knees, but those who follow me on Twitter will be very aware of the effect the scent of Joop has on me, and also the importance of music in my life. Not to mention how sensual a light drag of the fingertips across quivering flesh can be when done at the right time... and of course, not to forget how the texture and taste of a piece of chocolate melting on your tongue can make everything right in the world. Sight is purely superficial, you can only see what is presented on the outside, and although it can help in many ways, it can also cloud your judgement too. As I develop as a writer, I look to continue to improve my writing to be inclusive of every part of the essence of how we think and feel, to use every sense we possess. To fully immerse my readers in the world of the characters I create.

So next time you have a few moments to yourself, close your eyes and try to describe the sensations you feel. The sound of birds singing in the distance, the scent of newly mown grass, the cool touch of the wine glass stem cradled in your hand, and the myriad tastes of the sweet, fragrant wine. Such simple pleasures.

What's Really Sexy?

Hiya everyone! Hope the new year is goin’ well for ya’ so far. It is for me! *snicker* But I’m just a muse so technically I don’t count. Or do I? Well, ask Shar about that one.

Anyways, what are we talkin’ about today? Sexy! What is the true definition of sexiness to you? I mean, I think it’s about time I do some smexy posts right? Yeah I know, I’m an author but hell, talkin’ about the backlist and books can get boring so let’s talk about my favorite thing other than writing, metal, and men! Sex or as I say in this post, sexiness!

What defines sexy to you? Pretty eyes, a taut and deliciously ripped body? Six pack abs are nice but when the man ain’t packin’ down below it kinda defeats the purpose, right? I mean, when we see a sexy man, we automatically assume he’s hung like a horse but unfortunately, that’s not always the case. Ahem, gettin’ back to what’s sexy! Do you like some stubble or none at all? How about tattoos and piercings? Um… well, I love those myself. What about the way a man dresses? Is there a particular way he wears his clothes or what he wears? Suits and ties, jeans and t-shirts, or my personal fave, nothing at all… *AHEM* Sorry. Yeah I love jeans and a plus from me if they wear them kind of tight around the buttocks. I like seeing my man’s booty to give it a tight squeeze. Those who wear them low to the crevice of your arse need not apply. I hate that look, it just looks sloppy but some women like that and find it appealing. *shakes head* Moving on!

What about the ladies? What defines a sexy woman? I believe the same rules apply but I think men also like the way a woman carries herself. Do the guys always go for the lady who struts her stuff when she walks in the door or are they attracted to the shy and unassuming type? Perhaps, it’s the woman who doesn’t dress to impress. Maybe she looks like a sweet girl and he’d love to push her limits to see how innocent or naughty she truly is. Yeah, I know you men have thought about the naughty librarian and had a wet dream or two about her. *smirks*

The point with both sexes is we have different standards and tastes when it comes to be people we’re attracted to. What I find sexy, you might not and vice versa. Perhaps it’s not about the exterior at all. Are you in love with his or her personality, their intelligence? Perhaps it’s what that person does for a living, like a musician for instance. Not all the men in the metal world especially are pretty to look at but man can they bed a woman! I’ve heard Lemmy from Motorhead beds quite a few pretty women and is he sexy? Hells no! Yet he gets plenty of um, action!

So what is sexy? It really is how we as individuals define it. Whether it’s the physical parts, the intellect, or their personality, we can decide what truly attracts us to another person. I know what I like. I think I covered it on the above paragraphs.

How about you? What do you define as sexy?

As always, thanks for listening to me, the wicked muse!
